As a human centered designer, dreamer, and doer I am full of curiosity, empathy, and big laughter.
Bringing a cross-disciplinary background in environmental engineering and cultural anthropology, I began working on community projects in 2015. I graduated from Purdue University with degrees in Environmental Engineering and Anthropology. After college I worked at a non-profit startup in Chicago while managing community projects in rural Brazil.
I moved to southern Utah in 2019 to engage in place-based work with rural communities. I have worked in contextual problem solving of some of the region's greatest challenges: access to water, electricity, healthcare, and voting rights and have employed human centered design methods in all projects I am a part of. I help build programs that incorporate the needs of communities and users from start to finish.
I am energized by designing creative programs and products that center people first and re-imagine the future of communities everywhere.
